Great toaster but poorly place power cord
This is a very good toaster and have not had any problems since we purchased it quite a few years ago. The only hiccup is the poorly placed power cord. This is the first appliance I have seen with the power cord near the front as most have them on the back with the occasional side mount but these usually have removable power cord. On top of that the cord is only 25 inches long which leaves about 12 inches of usable cord. Not very functionable as it has to be very close to an outlet to be used. A 3 ft cord positioned at the back would have been a better choice. Another concern is that if you are only using one side then you have to use the right side as only one has power and no power for the other until you engage it. There is no indication other than the 1 and 2 on the front of the toaster. If it were me I would have numbered 1-2 from the left side instead of the right. Just me

Poor Quality
Have had the toaster for only 5 months and one of the elements is not working, thereby only toasting one side of the bread. Called regarding the warranty, only to be told that this model is not available, even though Walmart is advertising it on their website. Very disappointing as I really liked the vintage style. Guess you get what you pay for.

Love this toaster
We have been sing this toaster for years and works very well. Very easy to push down the handle and toast my bread evenly. When the toast is ready the slices are lifted up high enough to be easily grab, not like other brands. Other toaster I had did not lift the toast high enough and I always had to use fork or knife to get it out. Hated it.

THIS IS A TERRIBLE PRODUCT! After about 6 months of use the handle mechanism fails and you have to hold down your toast to get it browned. Who has time for this!? I would recommend spending more money on a more reliable brand.

No good
Bought this about 6 months ago and now one side won't stay down to toast! We had our last different brand toaster for 8years (just to add a comparison) This is ridiculous.
