This blender can make thin and watery smoothies, blend protein powder into an ample quantity of liquid, or puree large quantities of soft wet foods, at least if you have some time on your hands. This blender cannot crush ice, make thick smoothies, puree frozen fruits, make green smoothies, make hummus, or handle anything less than a half-full jug - so single-servings of anything are out of the question. Every time I use this blender to make a smoothie, I have to use the pulse function, wait for it to stop, then stir with a spoon. Repeat that for the entire blending process. Hugely frustrating and tedious. A weak, disappointing blender which is only slightly more useful than having no blender at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I have been using this one for ten years, then broken the bottom parts, then I bought the same one last fall, I like it and almost use it everyday for smoothie, but the bottom broken again yesterday, do not know if any possible only buy the bottom circle part?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great blender. Finicky lid. I use this blender primarily for smoothies and it's even better than my last Sunbeam blender (which I was quite fond of). It does a great job on frozen fruit and ice, and it's easy to clean up. The lid is a pain to fit on, you have to carefully scrunch up some of the lining and shove it into the jug. I'd read other reviews that mentioned the lid's difficulties, and they're true. Not for someone who doesn't have excellent hand dexterity. That's the reason I'm giving this 4/5 stars. Otherwise, great price, great service, great blender.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working in the middle of second smoothie Made one smoothie with this, loved it! Next day I went to make another and it stopped in the middle. Tried to give it a day to rest and it never turned back on. Smells burnt now, returning it for something better.

Impossible de broyer des aliments car le moteur chauffe, sent le brûler, force énormément. Même lorsque j'y met de petites quantités avec peu de liquides.De plus, à ma dernière utilisation, la base noire s'est complètement fendue PENDANT que j'avais des ingrédients bouillants à l'intérieur. J'aime bien votre marque mais je suis très déçue de la qualité de ce produit.

It's bigger, works better and it was less expensive by about 50%. Thank you for a good product at a reasonable price.
