Coffee Maker
The coffee is not brewing
Please cross check one or more of the folowing: The appliance is unplugged. Plug it in or there’s a power outage. Wait for power to be restored. The water reservoir is empty, check the water window, fill the water reservoir. The filter basket may not be properly inserted. Insert the filter basket correctly. The decanter may not be placed properly onthe warm plate. Ensure the decanter is is correctly placed.
The coffee is not hot
There is a power outage or the Auto SHUT-OFF has been activated. Wait for the power to be restored and for best results, brew a fresh pot of coffee.
Food greasy or not crisp
Food batches too large, Oil temperatures too low, Using wrong type of oil. Use less food in basket, Increase oil temperature, Use good vegetable oil.
Unpleasant smell
Replace oil
Oil spills over
Oil Reservoir over filled, Too much water in food, Food batches too large. Remove excess oil (when cool)
(Fill between ""MIN"" and ""MAX"" marking.) Dry food with paper towels Use less food in basket
The coffee taste bad
The coffee grounds other than for an automatic drip coffeemaker were used, the ground coffee to water ratio was unbalanced, the coffee maker needs cleaning. Use coffee grounds recommended for the automatic drip coffeemaker, clean the coffee maker regularly based on the freqency of use.
Fryer not operating
These may the reasons for the fryer not operating: Control Panel assembly, not seated properly, Power Strip not installed, correctly, Not turned ON, Not plugged in, Outlet not energized. Here are some of the solutions: Reinstall Control Panel assembly, Reinstall Power Strip, Turn Timer Control Knob to ON, Insert SureRELEASETM Power Cord into fryer socket, then insert plug into outlet, Check fuses or circuit breaker
The filter basket overflows.
There may be a few reasons why this might be happening: The filter basket may not be properly inserted. Insert the basket correctly. The decanter may not be placed all the way on the warm plate. Place the decanter correctly on the warm plate. Ensure the decanter lid is assembled onto the decanter. Too many coffee grounds were placed into the filter. Reduce the amount of grounds and start the brew processs again. Also, the decanter was removed from the warmer plate for more than 30 seconds. TURN OFF AND UNPLUG THE UNIT. ALLOW TO COOL. WIPE UP THE
SPILL. DO NOT SET HOT DECANTER BACK ON THE WET WARMER PLATE OR IT MIGHT CRACK.
The coffee maker brews slowly
The coffee maker needs cleaning. Follow the cleaning and maintaining section of your user guide.
The grounds are in the coffee.
The filter is not properly seated in the basket or the filter collapsed. Ensure the filter is correctly deated in the basket or replace the curled or claapsed filter with a new one.
The coffee maker only brews water, There are no coffee gronds in the filter basket.
Add the desired amount of coffee to the filter basket.
THE “BREW NOW”/ON LIGHT DOES NOT LIGHT UP
The appliance is unplugged. Plug it in or there’s a power outage. Wait for power to be restored.
